Abstract
This paper examines extensively the elements of public relations in traditional African societies. It also looks at the various ways public relations is practiced in traditional African societies. It identifies the public relations tools used and how they are used. The various elements of modern and organized public relations are found in traditional African societies. In a nutshell, the work shows that public relations is practiced functionally and significantly in traditional
African societies.
