The Internet and Free Flow of Information

Abstract

The debate on the free flow of information. and freedom of information is a key issue in global communication. The amount of information. available through the Internet is staggering. This paper therefore explores the basics and benefits, the protocols, and constraints of the connectivity of the Internet in Nigeria. To correct the imbalance of information. flow, a mass computer literacy programme' should be introduced throughout the country.
